I’m Starting to Find My Family

Not the ones in this photo. That’s my fantastic wife and daughter, who keep me grounded, happy, and feeling loved. (Sorry to my son for being missed out - but you’re deep in the sullen “no photo” phase. We’ll regroup in a year or two! ❤️)

But I am finding:

✅ Like-minded entrepreneurs
✅ A supportive community
✅ People who 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦

I’ve been a little quiet these last couple of weeks. But I’ve been busy connecting with people 𝗜𝗥𝗟 - and it’s been energising.

🔹 Chemistry sessions with new coaching clients - people at key transitions, facing big decisions and scary change
🔹 Proposals for consulting work - solving real-world problems through leadership, change, and learning
🔹 And, most importantly, I’ve been building 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀. The kind I’ve been looking for, for a while.

One I’m especially excited about is with Gyre.

I’ve known arabella and the team for over three years now. First as an enthusiastic client, and now as a creative, collaborative partner.

Together, we’re shaping something bespoke, innovative, and impactful.
(There’s more to come soon - but it’s already been a joy to build.)

For those unfamiliar with Gyre - it’s a strengths-based, character-led coaching and leadership tool that blends data with deep insight.

As a coaching client said to me 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺:

“It’s clever, isn’t it? Easy, digestible… I can get to grips with it quickly.”

And he did.
The next 50 minutes were a whirlwind of reflection, insight, and action.
He left energised - and I did too.

Why share this?

Yes, to let more people know about Gyre.
But more than that - it’s a reflection on the power of 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀.

Whether you call it:

• My people
• My crew
• My circle
• My community
• My fellow travellers (...?)

It doesn’t really matter.
What matters is they’re there.

Because as someone navigating the new world of independence and freedom, I’ve learned this:
With freedom comes uncertainty - and the risk of 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘰-𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.

Surrounding myself with like-minded, generous people has been the cherry I didn’t know this cake needed.
